OPERATOR ESTATE — MEASURED, NOT MODELLED
The page where real Dubai buildings replace the model.
Every figure below comes from chiller records an operator submitted for their own plant. Savings are measured by comparing each plant against its own earlier baseline — the same method an auditor would use. Nothing on this page is simulated, and no number appears until the readings behind it exist.
MEASURED SAVINGS
No measured savings yet — and we will not publish any until there are.
Measured savings need a plant's own history: 14 reporting days of unguided operation to establish a baseline, then at least 7 days of operation to compare against it. Each day must carry both electricity consumed and cooling delivered. Until a connected plant clears both thresholds, the only savings figures CoolGrid publishes are the clearly labelled model on the Phase 2 page.
What a day of data must contain
- Date of the reading
- Electricity consumed by the plant (kWh)
- Cooling load delivered (TR)
- Chilled water supply and return temperature (°C)
- Make-up water, where metered (m³)
Readings can be typed in, uploaded as a spreadsheet, or pushed automatically from a building management system using a secure key issued in the partner portal.
CONNECTED PLANT RECORD
Nothing connected yet.
No district cooling operator has opted a site into the public estate view yet. The moment one does, their metered energy, load, delta-T and utilisation appear here — anonymised — and the measured savings above begin accumulating as soon as the plant has enough history.
HOW A BUILDING GETS CONNECTED
Four steps, operator in control throughout.
1 — Register the plant
The operator creates a partner account and records the site: area, type, rated capacity, year commissioned.
2 — Send readings
Daily rows entered by hand, uploaded as a spreadsheet, or pushed from the building management system with a secure key.
3 — Baseline builds
The first 14 reporting days establish how the plant performs unguided. No recommendations influence this period.
4 — Savings get measured
After 7+ further days, consumption is compared against the plant's own baseline efficiency and published here.
WHAT STAYS PRIVATE
Publishing is opt-in, per site.
A site appears on this page only when its owner switches on public estate sharing. Even then, site names, owners, addresses, operator notes and raw rows never leave the system — only anonymised aggregates under a generated code. Sharing can be switched off at any time and the site disappears from this page immediately.
Never published
- Building or scheme names and addresses
- Operator or owner identity and contact details
- Individual raw readings and operator notes
- Tariffs, contracts or commercial terms
