A digital twin, a forecast, and advice an operator can refuse

CoolGrid is deliberately advisory. Guidance is issued to the control room, never imposed on plant, which keeps deployment risk low and makes measurement honest.

The intelligence stack

01Digital twin

A live representation of each site — chillers, loops, loads, metering and climate exposure — rebuilt continuously from operator readings and Dubai weather data.

02Forecasting

Short-horizon demand and load prediction, targeting 24–72 hours of forward visibility for planning and pre-cooling decisions.

03Advisory optimisation

Setpoint and sequencing guidance issued to operators, who retain full override. Comfort and safety limits are enforced as hard constraints.

04Asset risk

Deterministic stress and failure-risk scoring from recent readings, each with an explicit confidence level rather than a black-box score.

05Measurement and verification

Baseline versus guided comparison with published methodology, uncertainty reporting, and no savings claimed that cannot be traced to metered data.

Data and integration

Operators send daily plant readings through a secured token endpoint, or upload history as a file. Nothing is written back to plant control systems.

  • Per-site ingest keys that can be revoked at any time
  • Validated, idempotent daily readings with replacement on resend
  • Live Dubai climate observations and forecasts as an independent input
  • Row-level access control: an operator sees only their own estate
  • Optional anonymised contribution to the public estate view
  • Full audit trail of readings, recommendations and outcomes
